4-Year-Old Pre-Prep Program (2027)
Children must turn 4 years of age before 30 April 2027 to be eligible for Millville’s 4-year-old Pre-Prep program. Our program provides an inclusive, play-based learning environment designed to challenge, enrich, and extend children’s skills, preparing them not only for school but for lifelong learning.
The Pre-Prep program will be funded for 16–20 hours per week. Families can choose from a range of options to suit their needs:
Half-day sessions from 8.30am- 1.30pm (5 hours) on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Full-day sessions from 8:30 am to 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
Flexible combinations of full and half days to make up eligible funded hours
Our experienced educators work closely with each child to foster confidence, independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. The program incorporates rich indoor and outdoor experiences, engaging activities, and opportunities to develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. 4 year old Kindergarten (Pre-Prep from 2027)
3-Year-Old Kindergarten Program (2027)
Children must be 3 years of age by 30 April 2027 to be eligible to attend Millville’s 3-year-old Kindergarten program. Our play-based program provides engaging, inclusive experiences that support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, helping them grow confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
The program is funded, and families can choose from flexible session options to suit their needs:
Half-day sessions (5 hours) on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Full-day sessions from 8:30 am to 4pm on Monday and Wednesday
Flexible combinations of full and half days to make up eligible funded hours
Our experienced educators work alongside children to extend their learning through play, providing nurturing, supportive, and enriching experiences that meet each child’s unique needs and interests.
Bush Kinder
Our offsite Bush Kinder program runs within the times of our normal kindergarten program during term 2 &3 for one session a week. The four year old group head to Birnam Station in Barongarook by bus for a 3 hour session and the three year old group head to Hugh Murray Reserve in Colac by bus for a one hour session. We do a different day each term to cover both long day and sessional kinder groups.
